At Least Fuel Prices Won’t Kill Us Now!

by Save-Petrol Admin ~ October 27th, 2008. Filed under: Petrol Prices.

Money PotWhen petrol was ridiculously priced over 120p per litre and diesel seemed like it was gonna steam over 200p per litre at one point I did wonder when the end would come! Thank god the price of oil has nearly halved since we saw record high prices at the pumps.

At the silly prices it felt like all money was going on fuel, I litreally felt sick when I put £40 of petrol in a Ford Fiesta! Now the lowest price in my area for unleaded is 94.9p (106.9p for diesel) which I can live with. It should still be much lower but at least it has came down significantly. With Mr Credit Crunch doing his best to hurt all of us another drop in fuel prices would definitely be welcome.

This price drop isn’t gonna suddenly make me start driving more, but at least it will mean a few more pennies in the bank at the end of the month!
